Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I sounds like you've got a question about the Apple TV app on the Fire Stick. I'll be glad to see what I can do to assist.
If you go to Settings > General on the Apple TV app, are you seeing the ability to make screensaver changes? You may also need to check the screensaver settings for your Fire Stick if the photos showing are from your Amazon My Photos collection and not from iCloud Photos.
