can you explain a notification i received concerning my Apple ID?

Should I be worried that I received a notification saying “YourApple ID and phone number are now being used for iMessages and FaceTime on a new iPad”.? I have an iPad but not new and it was used recently.

I get occasional notices like that even though I haven't signed into my iPad recently.

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.
