Turbotax 2019 was running fine on my machine until I upgraded OS to Catalina 10.15.2. Now when I try to start it, I get a brief "verifying" message and then nothing. I've tried control-clicking the Turbo icon to get it started, and that is the result. What's up? Turbo tax has not been helpful thus far.

When running normally, Turbotax offers to update its software when you start it - I had been doing all the updates. Now I can't get even that far. I did re-download the software from their site to be sure I had a fresh copy.
TurboTax 2019 Premier was working fine until I updated to Catalina 10.15.3. I have tried working with Intuit but the uninstall attempts did not eliminate the program so a reinstall would work. How can I uninstall TT19? Any other ideas?
Thank you. I have tried but the program, or parts of it, are still on my Mac. When I try to reinstall TT it asks if I should replace or keep both. I had tried both ways but TT still will not work. How can I be sure that I am totally uninstalling TT?
First, have you emptied the Trash after you’ve dragged the app to it? If not that can sometimes short circuit the normal uninstall process. If that hasn’t helped, open your ~/Library and the Application Support folder inside of it. Look for a file named TurboTax XX 2019 and drag it to the trash. Get out of Application Support and find the Preferences folder. There’s a file in there called com.intuit.turbotax.2019.plist. Drag that to the trash and empty the trash. Restart your computer and try the install from scratch. Come back if that doesn’t fix the problem and let you open the app.
Does TurboTax 2019 offer a check for updates menu item, and failing that, are there recent updates available from the vendor that you have not applied?
Have you Right clicked on the new TT App & chosen Open?
