How long does it take to get iPhone back after it been repaired also as it been sent off completely dead as it won't turn on it getting a battery change how long do I leave it charging for?

In terms of charging iPhone, you can leave it plugged in as long as you want. iPhone can't overcharge and has circuitry built in to stop charging once it is fully charged. I charge my iPhone while I sleep, use it during the day and plug in when I go to bed. It stays on the charger all night long, which is fine.
