Desktop Photos

On an iMac Catalina how does one change the desktop backgrounds to a rotating series of photos from Photos. Previously I could have the desktop background rotating through an album but now I can only set one photo or I have to leave a number on the desktop which is messy!

edited photos appear unedited when desktop background I've just started using a new MacBook Air, and set my desktop to use one of my Photos albums. However, on the new MacBook desktop, the photos do not appear with the edits I've done in Photos -- the pics are not cropped the way I have saved them in Photos. Does anyone know how to correct this -- how to get edited version of my pics to display as desktop background? On my previous MacBook the edited/cropped versions would display for desktop.

cant set a folder of background images to "Change picture: every day" I previously had a folder on my desktop filled with a bunch of images I used for a desktop background. I had it set to "Change picture: every day" so that it would cycle through the folder on a daily basis. However, after updating to Monterey, I can select a background from the image folder but whenever I click "Change picture: every day" it automatically changes the desktop back to a default one. How can I get my background to change every day from a folder of images?

Photos in Hidden Album show in Desktop Background I have a Hidden Album but when I choose to have my Desktop Background to randomly display photos every 5 seconds, photos from the Hidden Album are included in the rotation. Is there any way to prevent the "hidden" photos from appearing? I am on Mac OS 10.15.6.

You can still do it. Select a picture from an album in Photos and enable "Change ....". The Desktop picture will change between the photos from this album.
