Being wrongly charged for an app

I have been emailed confirming a purchase of ‘Clash Royals’ of $49.99 and I definitely did not make not make this purchase nor did anyone on my account that I know of.

I have since changed my password but want to check my account isn’t being hacked and also would love to be refunded please!

any help would be greatly appreciated

If this is in reference to an email you have received, it is most likely a scam email. Check the info below for clues to bogus emails.


  • Apple does not include document, or PDF files to download.
  • Apple would not refer to you as Dear Customer, Dear Client, or anything other than the name on file for your account.
  • Apple would not have such horrible spelling or grammar. 
  • Apple would not send a message to “Undisclosed Recipients”. 


It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

That sounds like a phishing scam. If the only indication of the charges is from an email or text, be aware that it may be a phishing attempt to get you to log in to a site that appears to be Apple and divulge your password or credit card information.
