Firevault was accidentally enabled on my MacBook Pro, I followed a posts instructions but I’m missing a step

I’ve accidentally turned on firevault and it’s still encrypting. I went in recovery mode, went to disk utility then I unlocked my unmounted disk. It then said to go to file (at the top) then click stop encrypting. However there isn’t stop encrypting as an option in file. What should I do? Please help.

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14
