I have audacity(for podcasting), it's not working since I updated to Catalina. should I just delete it and download a new version?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15
Version 2.3.3 has been released and runs without issue on Catalina.
FWIW, Audacity is not 100% Catalina compatible as yet.

Audacity does not think the 2.3.3 release is compatible, but there is a supposed workaround for the desperate:
