Missing Escape Touch Bar Button

My touch-bar no longer displays the "ESC" button when I am viewing something fullscreen. Where'd it go? (Started happening 1-2wk ago).

I also have read I can make a physical key act as the escape button, but my touch-bar is meant to have the "Esc" button so I'd like it back :-)
