ESC key doesn't show anymore in Touch Bar

ESC key doesn't show anymore in Touch Bar, instead a cross button replaces at that location but it does not function as the ESC key.

For instance, if I want to force close an application, I used to use Command+option+ESC to bring up the list of opened applications. It does not work anymore.

This is very annoying, please help to provide solution to resolve this. Thanks.

Yours was feeling like a 16 inch MacBook Pro with a physical escape key :)

If pressing Fn shows it then you might try to reverse Fn button's function in Settings->Keyboard and change the "Pressing Fn" option.
