Boot from pcie ssd on pcie buss not working on 2019 Mac Pro

If I do a clean install on the M.2 SSD, which is installed on a pcie card, and create a user account, I can log into iCloud and the App Store with no problem. As soon as I migrate from my 2010 Mac Pro, the whole thing goes Squirrley. When I restart set up runs every time I restart. I cannot log Into the App Store or iCloud. Catch

If I try to boot into safe mode it absolutely will not boot into safe mode neither from that SSD north from the internal SSD also won’t boot into safe mode.

I am kind of at my wits end here.

OK, great, let's start by deleting these files & restarting...

~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.movavi.screencapturestudio3.screencapture.startup.plist

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.google.keystone.agent.plist

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.softraid.SoftRAIDMonitor.plist

/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.softraid.softraidd.plist

/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.cleverfiles.cfbackd.plist

~ tilde indicates hidden Home Library.

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Method 1:

1 From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.

2 In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.

Can you run this on your 2010 MP & show us the Report?

I’m going to rethink this entire process. I’m going to erase the SSD on the PCI bus and not install the OS on it but rather move the user folder to that drive and keep the “internal“ drive strictly System and applications and see how that works. I’ll give you a report tonight, I have to go to work. Frankly I don’t know why I didn’t think of this at the get go.

oh, and btw, I never told you that I had set a firmware password and after doing a bit of research I discovered that that prevents Safe Mode. Now it won’t accept my password to turn it off. Self inflicted wounds are the most painful!
