Hello, my Apple Watch and iphone won’t pair

My Apple Watch and my iPhone are unpaired and I want to pair them, but my Apple Watch won’t go into pairing mode. I had an issue where I couldn’t update my watch so I tried troubleshooting and disconnected everything. But my watch is still acting like it’s paired to an iPhone but when I go into the app it tells me to pair to a watch.

Hey there Dwarfzz,

Thanks for going through those steps. If that didn’t work, put your Apple Watch on its charger, then press and hold the side button until you see Power Off. Firmly press the Power Off slider, then lift your finger. Tap Erase all content and settings. Once that is complete, see if you can set it up with your iPhone once more. If you can access the Settings on your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Go through the steps and once the process is complete, you can set your watch and iPhone back together. You can read more about this here:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

Cheers.

Hi Dwarfzz,

Do you have Find My enabled on your companion iPhone? If so, go to iCloud.com from a computer and sign in with your Apple ID. Go to Find My iPhone and select your Apple Watch from All Devices. Click Erase Apple Watch. Go through the prompts until the device is erased. Once this is complete, try pairing your Apple Watch and iPhone together again.

Set up and pair Apple Watch with iPhone
