USB Keyboard Not Working On Logic Pro X

I have a Macbook Pro 2017 15-inch model on OS Catalina (10.15.2) and Logic Pro X (10.4.8).

In the past, I have used a USB keyboard in order to compose music with this program. However, today, when I tried to use my keyboard for such a purpose, it did not work. It recognized that it was, in fact, plugged in; this pop-up guarantees that my computer recognizes that there is, in fact, a MIDI keyboard plugged in and in use:

However, in Logic Pro proper, upon pressing any key, no sound was produced. As far as I'm concerned, this is the first time that such an occurrence has happened to me.

My main guess is that this has to do with the fact that I am on Catalina, which has messed with a lot of compatibility. I never used my keyboard at all prior to today, so chances are that it wouldn't have worked then, either for that reason.

Is my prediction correct?

If yes, what would be the best course of action? (i.e. installing a previous OS, replacing the keyboard, etc.)

If no, how can I set things up again so that it can work again as it did before?

My current keyboard is a Roland A-49-BK.

As someone currently doing compositions for college, it is important that this works. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

UPDATE: I have installed Roland's driver for Catalina and the keyboard works now. This has been resolved.
