I'm running the latest operating systems on my Mac and my iPhone. I'm trying to set up a POP email account and it looks like the option to choose between an IMAP account and a POP account has disappeared. Is it still possible to set up a POP account?

Here is how you add a POP account (it's silly, but it works).
1) Enter the details for your account, and put in a WRONG password.
2) You will be told that the password is wrong, and asked to fill in the details again - this time you can choose POP!

If you want to access the same account from both your Mac and Phone IMAP might be the better choice.
