Missing iphoto events in Photos

Since I wrote that note, I went into Pictures and found 4 different iPhoto Libraries and looked through them and one of them had most of the events but I have to check whether it's all of them. Also the albums are a mess. I open one and instead of the correct photos there's others mixed in. Still, I seem to have found a large amount of the events.

How to move the photos inside the iPhoto events to correct albums in Photo seems overwhelming - 15,000 ! What a nightmare.

Yes, of course I understood that there were my photos. My issue is that while going through that album of iPhoto events containing my albums from iPhoto, I discovered that within those albums, photos were all mixed up and as i was looking through them all but 6 albums disappeared . I did find that if I went to finder>pictures>iPhotos libraries were present and most but not all albums/photos were there. But most. Not in the order I had them originally in iPhoto and certainly, some are simply gone.

I did try to move photos to correct albums. As well take some out of the folder for other use. Did not know about that bug. Yes, I do have the migrated iPhoto library and as I wrote, when I open it the photos inside the albums are somewhat messed up and some photos/albums missing. Never did make the transfer over. But I will change the extension. I did not know about that. I've actually never restored anything from Time Machine yet all these years so I'll have to look into how to find it in Time Machine. Haven't needed to before.
