21,5" iMac - A1311 (E2428) - Won't boot (Even after new PSU & Logicboard)

Hi,

This is my first post. So thank you very much to let me tell my problem.

Problem:

Well the problem i have is the follow. I own an iMac 21,5" from 2011.

It is the A1311 model.

A few months ago, the complete computer wouldn't boot. So last week i decided to fix it my self.

I openend the iMac and i saw #1 LED was on. The others won't turned on.

Then i searched on the internet and i thought 2 things, or a new PSU or a new Logicboard.

I decided to buy both for 90 dollars in total. After installing first the new logicboard: still #1 led on. The others wont.

Then i installed the new PSU and take a gues....still #1 LED on, the others wont.

What the **** is going on with my iMac? Did i do something wrong? Why wouldn't it still not booting?

I hope I will reach someone with the same problem i have. Maybe you could help me.

Thanks allot guys!

LED#2 indicates whether the Logic Board is receiving the proper power. If LED#2 is not lit, then you either have a defective power supply or a defective Logic Board. There is no way to know whether either of your used parts are/were even good. There is also a chance your original power supply caused damage to the replacement Logic Board (it's rare, but it does happen).

Try using a different AC Cord and plugging the AC cord into a different electrical outlet just in case one of these is faulty.
