Is this a scam email

I got an email saying that my account was suspended and would be deleted in 3 days if I didn’t authenticate it. This is exactly what it says I will also include a picture without my email address.

“Dear xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.com

You Account Apple ID has been accessed from another devices. 

For security reasons, we have locked your account. Please verify you Apple ID account, if no verification is performed we will delete your account completely.

Apple support

Basically, any message you get that has a big ol' button to verify something, cancel a purchase, or login to your Apple account is automatically a scam. Apple does not ever include such links. Nor any kind of attachment.


Apple is also very particular about proper English and grammar in their communications. Something the person who wrote this tripe is sorely lacking the skills in.
