How do I view or get all my pictures from iphoto to Photos?? I have 1000's of photos, please advise.

When Photos was released, all you had to do was Open Photos and it transferred.

If that doesn't happen, try opening Photos while holding down the Option key.

It will ask you to choose a Library. See if you can select your iPhoto Library.

I don't have an iPhoto Library to try out that theory.

You should probably make sure you have a backup of the iPhoto Library.
