Where are emojis for external keyboard iPad mini 5?

Try Control + Space and see if you get a list of keyboards that includes emoji.

Otherwise you should be able to switch back to the screen keyboard.

The emoji are on the iPad itself. You access it on the external keyboard the way you would access any additional keyboard on the device. If you are using the Apple Keyboard, it is a Globe icon in the lower left corner of the keyboard. You just need to ensure that you have Emoji installed in Settings>General>Keyboards.

Sorry, I was not aware of the keyboard you were using. Have you checked the documentation for the keyboard. It should indicate if there is a key combination. Otherwise, I would check with Zagg.
