i’ve tried redownloading the “Find My Friends” app

i’ve tried redownloading the “Find My Friends” app after i have uninstalled it. it will not come back up at all, even after following the given directions on the apple site. why will it not pop back up? do i need to update my phone or anything?

In iOS 13, it is called Find My, not Find my Friends. Find my iPhone and a Find my Friends have been combined it the Find My App.
