How can I delete hotspot and other devices 1.7GB off my iphone 8 plus

I’ve got my hotspot turned off due to huge data being used it’s been bought to my attention that the hotspot used on another neighbours iphone is still on his iphone however it was deleted off mine due to ongoing weird analytics on same days as data being used daily (ie) 2.2 GB

Ive tried to turn off settings not used and they end up on when neighbour comes over his bluetooth is searching all the time why he does it I suppose is to find my device as he setup hotspot using bluetooth usb and also wifi but I got it again discovered my bluetooth ON and low and behold bloody hotspot used upto 1.7GB OF DATA which i want to delete and never see it again

In analyitics I find another connection from an IPHONE 8 with different IOS my phone has latest however ios 3.0

mine doesn’t show anything on his phone why would a friend do this to you when i asked him too delete all hotspot settings like “FORGET THIS NETWORK”

he didn’t why ?

well when i made it impossible to connect to like removed my simcard all I could hear was YELLING LOUDLY so i asked him are you okay ?

his reply was IM SELLING ALL THESE 3D PRINTERS I SAID WHY HE REPLIED I CANNOT USE THEM WITHOUT WIFI OR INTERNET.

this concerned me to spend some time on phone to both OPTUS THEN APPLE

OPTUS WANTED TO BLOCK HOTSPOTS AT SERVER AND APPLE SAID HE COULD BE USING YOUR DATA HOWEVER TO BE 100% SURE GO INTO APPLE WITH NEW SIMCARD HAVE THEM RESET YOUR IPHONE TO FACTORY DEFAULT WITH NEW SIM NEW NUMBER HOPEFULLY THEN IT WILL STOP.

I JUST DONT LIKE SOMETHING I HAVE NO CONTROL OF SO ITS GOT TO GO

No one can use your hotspot unless they know the Wi-Fi password for it or their phone is logged in to your Apple ID. So change your Wi-Fi password and if you think someone knows your Apple ID and its password see this Apple support link—>If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

Also, no one can connect to Bluetooth on your phone unless you let them.

iPhones cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware by merely clicking on a link in Safari, unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious softwares or unauthorised apps directly from internet and installed on your iPhone or/and have Jail Broken.

You need to look at the way you share your sensitive and valuable informations of your device with your friends and family members.

I’m totally let down by your comments that neighbour setup that hotspot he is only one with passwords and i’ve not got access to his iphone the fact apple found on a screen to screen connection evidence of connection using hotspot which my hotspot is greyed out and i have no control.

the logs of diagnostics were shown because apple showed me they were in match to apple finding from

a screen to screen connection he told

me from that a trojan known as python linux was used on a laptop using XP this showed clear proof my iphone is compromised which has never been in his possession except for last tester

I hope

that you can get over your inability to

accept even doing a factory default on my device doesn’t remove his setup hotspot as that was my first question so have a great day over there in NYC I have a friend in nyc who is with local constabulary they believe scammers use this type

of hidden Hotspots to do frauds as we did loose$33,000.00 last year on iphone 6 plus and that same neighbour has a laptop with my one drive logged in so microsoft disconnected his laptop and optus disconnected his internet after

locking the one drive

As YOU cannot get over the fact that you are totally wrong on everything you post there is no point in continuing this conversation. You are on your own now.

That diagnostic log you posted has ZERO to do with anything other than battery usage and reading data from an internal sqlite database, it shows nothing about whatever problem you think (wrongly) that you have.

I have always been on my own I was directed to those logs by apple as date 9/1/2020 my battery went down from its full charge to 7% on a NEW IPHONE8PLUS Is unacceptable as well if both optus and apple agree my hotspot could be used illegally like it was on my iphone 6 plus last year ended up with $33,K fraud to my family and the Name of his device and computers was seen and read by apple support at the shop and it happened on his phone his two adult daughters phones and the total loss due to fraud was $33K

Even though you do think i’m wrong it’s happened before which probably concerns me and i’m maybe thinking it’s happening again MAYBE YOU ARE RIGHT

i had to seek any inputs so please don’t take any umbridge as I’m disabled vision impaired plus being old and only on a disabled pension gives me reasons to be concerned

have a good day i appreciate your input regardless of how it was put 😊

My phone was used as a wifi modem to install flash drive files to a neighbours printer he of course never told me i found out after it was done I’ve deleted all I could find however he tried pairing his to mine which was when his computer which was infected with linux python had somehow got this all started

All i want to do is make sure his phone or computer cannot see use or in short use my data SOMEONE has used it and i was told this by my telco who said we need to block your hotspot

of course it’s turned off however they still said it’s able to be done and I’m concerned

thanks for your answer
