My ipad does not seem to be able to update the latest software. I have recently bought a sonos(which i am having trouble setting up and sonos said i need the following software version ios11 and higher ipad0s 13 and higher) My ipad is telling me that the software is up to date which is 10.3.4.
How do i get the latest version on the ipad. thanks

A 4th gen iPad cannot be upgraded beyond iOS 10.3.3/10.3.4.
A 4th gen iPad is a nearly 7-1/2-year old device, now!
Its internal hardware is too old, underpowered and completely incompatible with any current and future versions of iOS.
Sorry. It is what it is at this very late date.
If you need an iPad that can run the latest and greatest versions of iOS, as well as, the most current apps available, then, you will need to purchase a new iPad from Apple or a discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple’s Refurbished & Clearance section of Apple’s Website.

You can't. iOS 11 and above require a more-powerful CPU than the one in an iPad 4.
