I have gone through each setting to make sure easylink is on and to make sure the correct remote is chosen in volume control. But it’s still not controlling my tvs volume.
Im only having issues with it not controlling the volume as it seems to control the tv on and off just fine.

Exactly. It used to work fine and didnt have any issues up untill two weeks ago. My normal tv remote actually controls my apple TV but when i go to pair a new remote in the settings and try to re-pair the LG remote it tells me there is no signal. Even though when i exit the set-up it works... Its just frustrating that i cant get the Apple TV remote to control the volume.
I have tried both of these and nether of them work. I can’t reset my remote to the Apple TV no matter how close I have it to the device.
Volume control for TV would be done using IR. Refer to your TV's manual for troubleshooting.
The last two weeks my Apple TV remote isn’t controlling my LG tv.
