how can i readd a device to my icloud account if i cant access the actual device do to the screen being broken

I am trying to add my iphone 6s plus back to my icloud account but i cant access the phone to do anything because the screen is broken

iPhone 6, iOS 12

If you can't access the phone, you can't add it back to your account. There isn't a way to remotely sign in.
