If you reset your comcast password you also have to change it on your iPhone. If it is an IMAP account (as opposed to a POP account) the easiest way to do this:

  • Go to Settings/Passwords & Accounts, tap on the account and delete it
  • Restart your phone —>Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
  • Go to Settings/Passwords & Accounts, tap on Add Account and add it back

If it is a POP account you need to Go to Settings/Passwords & Accounts, tap on the account to edit it, and change the password in TWO places, one for incoming mail and one for the Outgoing (SMTP) mail server.
