So, I had no problems using my iPod with iTunes before it changed to Music.
I rarely sync my iPod though but have had no issues.
Now, i am unable to sync music or event see the iPod in the music app.
The MacBook charges the iPod no problem.

Ok well i figured it out.
Never had to do this before but there you go.
Plug device in, use finder and click the device from the left.
Press Trust and then Trust on the device.
Now shows in iTunes.

my iPhone won't show up either.
Tried different cable and USB port.
6th Gen iPod wont show up in Music app. Is Charging.
