Sync iPod nano with iPad Pro

I recently ditched my old iMac for an iPad Pro. Everything works great, except that when I connect my iPod nano to sync/update with new music to play in the car, but I’m unable to see it. I can see the device connected in files but content shows blank and the iTunes Store app doesn’t seem to know it.

Any advice on how I can sync up new purchases?

Thanks

You can’t sync the nano with the iPad Pro for the purposes of transferring music. You would still need to sync the music from a computer to the Nano and since you got rid of the Mac, you have no way of doing that now.
