Calendar won't open (crashes immediately)

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

It works in the new test admin account, but it crashes immediately still in my account. I think the problem is that I added a corrupt iCal event to it: It's at 9:45 but it's showing at 11 or something, I think.

I guess I should create a new thread, but I wonder what you would say if it works in a test account but not the main account.

Well, it's a corrupt file in your normal account, tough to tell which, OSX is ever more complicated.

So, after establishing that Cal doesn't crash in the new Admin acct, do you then delete the old one?

Normally we try to find the offending file in the original account, but you'd need to start a new thread to get the most helpers in on it.
