Calendar won't open (crashes immediately)

About a week ago, my Calendar app won't open on my MacAir, OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. It crashes immediately after it starts up.

I've tried restarting my MacAir in safe mode, and it still crashes, as does it when I open the Calendar app with the shift button held down. I have no problem opening the Calendar app on my iPhone 7. I tried looking in the hard drive's Library/Calendars but nothing is clearly labeled as Cache, except Email Cache.plist. Not sure if this is an OS issue, but the software has been updated

Advice please!

Thank you.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

(different person, same problem perhaps)

It works in the new test admin account, but it crashes immediately still in my account. I think the problem is that I added a corrupt iCal event to it: It's at 9:45 but it's showing at 11 or something, I think.

I guess I should create a new thread, but I wonder what you would say if it works in a test account but not the main account.
