Playing music on multiple devices without apple music family share

My family shares one apple ID. We have apple music, but not family share. When playing music on either the apple music player or other players we have gotten from the app store we cannot play on multiple devices at the same time. The problem I have is that it does this with all music downloaded to the device. Including music that was purchased somewhere else and downloaded to the device. Is there a fix for this? And don't say "get the apple music family share", I shouldn't have to pay more to listen to music I've payed for separately from apple music on multiple devices at the same time.

No, there is no fix for that. That is the way an individual Apple Music subscription is intended to work. And I won't tell you what you already know about a family subscription.
