bent frame

I closed my brand new MacBook Pro 13 inch from 2019 and I heard a weird noise. I opened it back up to see a large dent in the frame where the hinge attaches to the screen. I looked in the crack to see a little spring from a pencil in my backpack lodged between the screen and the frame. the bottom part of the screen is also cracked. is there anyway I can fix it? is it covered?

Yes, if you have AppleCare+ it covers a large portion of the repair price:

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

AppleCare+ (similar for iPhone and iPad, each incident of accidental damage) for Mac will carry its own price tag. Screen damage or “external enclosure damage” will run $99 per incident, while other damage, including water damage, will run $299. Users receive coverage of two incidents under AppleCare+, and after the two incidents have been used up, out-of-warranty replacement rates will apply
