Find my iPhone Question

I am looking for my AirPods on Find My iPhone, and it shows me this:

It shows that the AirPods are near me, but the date (in red) gives me a date that is four days ago. Does this mean that the AirPods are currently at that location and the last time I wore them was four days ago? Or does that mean the AirPods are not connected anymore and the last time that they were connected was at that date and location.
