Toyota Highlander connectivity issues

Any suggestions to fixing my problem? My navigation/audio system reboots constantly if I have my iphone connected via bluetooth. I can use an aux cord to connect however can't listen to music without repairing. So frustrating. Toyota says there is not a problem with the system. It all started in the past 2 months.

Hello daparker1,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you are having a few problems pairing and using your iPhone with your vehicle. It sounds like your vehicle's stereo may need a firmware update. I'd recommend checking their support pages, the user manual, or your dealership for steps to update the firmware. You may also want to pair a different device with your vehicle, to see if the same issues persist.

Have a good one!

I just bought a new Toyota Highlander and after struggling 3 days, calling the Toyota help numbers, and taking my new car back to the Kenny Kent Toyota dealership, I was told this is an Apple issue. I am not happy. I have an iPhone X with the current update 13.3, but see this issue has been ongoing for months and several “fixes”. When can we expect to use our phones Bluetooth with our cars?
