Update to the book "Intro to App Development with Swift"?

Is there an update coming to the book "App Development with Swift"? The book is based on Xcode 10 and I can only download Xcode 11 from the App Store and there are seemingly many differences between the two, especially for someone learning like myself. Even the first App I tried to make proved extremely difficult with buttons not being where they should be and non existent menu items, so much so the build failed and was quite disheartening.

If an update to the book is not forthcoming, is there a way to download Xcode 10 instead?

These are user supported communities and we have no information when, or if, Apple will update the Apple Book that you mentioned in the Apple Book store. It would appear that Apple is continuing to revise these Books (Nov 2019) with respect to Xcode 10, but has not released anything involving Xcode 11 yet.

I do not believe that Xcode 10.3 will run on Catalina, but you can try it. Remove Xcode 11.3.1 first, and then download Xcode 10.3 from the Apple Developer's site (provided you have a free account) as only Xcode 11.3.1 is now available from the Mac App Store.
