Watch won’t stay on charge

So I have an Apple Watch series 3 and lately when ever I put it on charge it stays on charge for a few minutes and then it says it’s not charging anymore. Is it the way I’m putting it on? I’ve had it for about a year and I’m just getting this trouble now.

I would try a different charger.
