Charging AirPods Pro

I have ordered AirPods Pro. I notice it comes with USB type - c to Lightning port. I don't have any type c devices to charge AirPods Pro neither have a wireless charger.

1) can I charge AirPods Pro with iPad Air 18w adapter USB-A to Lightning port? will it support fast charge?

2) do I have to buy Apple's 18W type c adapter ? I don't want to go third party.

3) which will be fast charge, wired or wireless charger?
