Macbook looses mission control spaces and all windows appear on the first screen

Hello,

has anyone experienced the same issue?

When I open my laptop all applications appear on the first screen independently where I left them or even if I made them bound to a given screen.

Mission control is not usable at all this way if every time I open the lid, I have to rearrange all apps over and over again.

Os is the latest 10.15.2, laptop is a 12" core i7 macbook.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps if you start in Safe mode, that can help by re-setting some background items

and then afterward on normal re-start, it may choose to work correctly.

There also are some resets, that may or may not help. The symptom(s) may require

system reinstall and/or use of macOS Utilities, via macOS Recovery in the system.

Without knowing more of your actual situation, these could be more than you need.

There may even be a hardware component issue or failure behind the symptoms.

Re-sets such as NVRAM/PRAM are simple enough and may help.

And, How to reset (SMC) System Management Controller. Read up!

If your system needs reinstall to replace damaged parts, etc. ~ the details vary

depending on circumstances, as do the actual re-install processes.
