My wifi seems to be working fine for all my other devices (iPhone, iPad, xBox, etc) and shows full strength in the status bar but when using safari it just hangs on my iMac. The only way to fix is is to reboot the wifi but this is a pain given the other devices are fine which leads me to think there is an issue with my iMac? Please help.

Yes I tried everything. I have a feeling it is my router that is playing up as my other devices are dropping off at random points but no way near as much as my iMac so there might be two things going on.
The problem seemed to resolve itself for a day or so but now broken again. It seems to be IP related as TCP/IP is blank
Did you follow any of the steps I suggested in the links provided?
Did you change your DNS settings?
no - there is just one listed whilst wifi is working. Also worth pointing out that I only have a very basic understanding of how this works.
Please change the DNS settings per the articles advice to one of the suggested settings. If you read the article and can follow basic instructions this may be the solution and save you some hassle.
