After I issue a siri command, the command works, then i'll press the home button again on my ipad to issue another siri command but now it shows this orb (the one circled) and i can't issue a command by speaking or by pressing the orb on screen.
this appears right after i issued a command, like "show the front door." it shows the front door. i long press the home button right after to issue another voice command but it just shows the orb and i can't do anything. no voice command or not pressing the orb.
It means that Siri is done with the previous response. You found that you have to tap on it before it will accept another voice input.
After a time without a response from the user this image appears to remind you that Siri is still waiting for input. On my iPad a list list of previous commands appears with that image.
thanks, this helps explain what it means. i think the reason i couldn't get it to work is because i was pressing the orb versus tapping it.
What does this SIRI icon mean? it's a circle orb?
