How do I access my pre orders in Apple Music, once released?

This is NOT an iTunes question, I only use Apple Music-- for some reason I cannot find any info on this topic in ref. to apple music specifically.

Every time I pre order an album in Apple Music, I get immediate access to any pre released tracks, but when the album itself is ultimately released, my pre order never updates. Instead, I have to delete the album from my library and then go back into my Apple Music browser to add it all over again. It's pretty annoying, so what am I doing wrong here? Shouldn't all pre ordered music become automatically available upon release?

Thank you for the reply Joseph, however that info you provided is not what I am looking for. My Apps are set to automatically download. However, I'm not downloading anything here. Just moving the access to said music from the public browser into my private library, as soon as possible. There is no setting anywhere that I can find to automatically do this.

I did just notice that the complete track list of a preordered album which was released on Friday, finally appeared in my library on Monday. So I guess the real issue here is the 3-day delay.

I see from your post that you want know how to access your pre-orders. This article has more information about Pre-order apps, movies, music, and books - Apple Support

You want to look under the “Download a pre-order” section that talks about automatic downloads. You can choose to have a pre-order automatically downloaded when it becomes available.

If those steps don’t help, I would recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly using the link at the bottom of the article.
