ECG app can’t access data from watch.

ECG app is available here in the US. However in my health app, when I choose “heart” and scroll down to ecg, It indicates “none” under data sources, and no way to add it that I can tell. Any suggestions??

Irregular rhythm notifications has no data source I’ve seen in other threads that data source on the Health app is for 3rd party apps and this is why there is no data source within this option in the health app. This completely doesn’t make sense when other Heart categories have my Apple Watch set as the data source. Im in Australia and this option has recently been enabled, my phone (2021 SE) and Apple Watch (SE) are fully up to date with iOS versions. Irregular rhythm notifications has no data source set yet these heart options examples among others have my watch set as the data source I cannot find anywhere how I get the data source set as my watch, doesn’t make sense that my watch is set as the data source for multiple health app options but not for this option. Any help appreciated.

ECG not available on watch but it is Hi guys just start using Apple Watch model ultra 2 ECG is not working. on the watch when I open ECG app it says. (to set up ECG open the health app on your iPhone ) But when I go to the health app it says (ECG app is not available on your Apple Watch) the iOS are updated and I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the ECG app on app watch and deleted all the previous data on the health app and did the setup again still nothing. Any idea’s that could help

ECG App Why do they even include the ECG app on the watch? It doesn’t work, producing an inclusive message nearly every time. The last good reading I got was in November. I’ve tried the suggestions found on the web but no change.

Which series Watch do you have?

Only the series 4 & 5 watches have ECG capability.

ASC - Late 2012 Mac mini, macOS 10.15.2; Watch, series 5 GPS/cellular, watchOS 6.1.1; iPad Air 2, ipadOS 13.3; iPhone 8+, iOS 13.3; TV 4th Gen, tvOS 12.4.1;  HomePods, audioOS 13.3 and Airport Express w/ Airplay 2
