Problem from itunes 12.8.2.3 to music 1.0.2.37

itunes 12.8.2.3 to music 1.0.2.37

My friend has an iMac 2008 (I dont know which system) that had power problem. We extract the HD and connect it to his new iMac 2019 on Catalina.. We tried to make music used the old iTunes Library and convert it to Music and so far no luck.

He has Tons of playlist and does not want to start over.

Any suggestions ?

Ok, I was told to put the file into the Music Folder. Start Music with ALT and select the .itl file

it work. All playlist are there.

maybe it will help somebody
