Can’t update apps

How do you update apps with an id you no longer use? It’s my ex’s and no longer have contact with him apps wont let me update without his Apple ID but everything of his is off my phone need help!

You cannot without his Apple ID & password.

You have to delete those apps and re-download the apps using your own Apple ID & password.
