As our iphone is backup on icloud and when we put our id to new phone all setting and data restore automatically to new device. My question is when we use Mac too with the same id as iphone, can we restore our new mac through icloud? restore all data and setting?

Just want to know, It's possible time machine backup on external drive? no issue if i backup manually once in a week or month.
Secondly, all the apps, data, setting of mac will be backup too? may most important thing is my email which is on outlook app.
