iPhone 8 heats up while playing games

So my IPhone 8 gets to about 37 degrees Celsius after about 5 to 10 minutes while playing games like call of duty mobile, is this normal, it kind of scares me

Seems about normal.

Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures

However, if your phone is getting hot, and not merely warm, have it checked.

Well how do I know if it is hot or warm?Apple talks about The ambient temperature, but not in use. A lot of people who I have asked(non professionals) say that it is pretty warm, but I can’t really tell if it is warm or hot

Graphic intensive video games push the battery in your iPhone and it's normal it would get warm being pushed. It's generally not cause for concern.
