Apple ID confusing

I opened my Apple account initially many years with an iCloud email address that is still current, but as I navigated the registration procedures, I was instructed that I needed 2 email addresses attached to the account which is where the confusion starts.(I used my main gmail address)

I am now thinking that these 2 email addresses have 2 entirely seperate iCloud accounts.

i have issues with not being able to activate WiFi calling on other devices as the iCloud & iTunes accounts are using different sign on credentials or something like that,& I have tried to rectify this situation only to get a notification that I can’t sign out of the account until I change countries.

So I have tried repeatedly to make what would seem to be on the surface, a very simple task.

But as with most things “Apple”, every time the web page reloads, I am thrown into a loop where I am no closer to changing my country and always permanently on the American site.

Anyone able to explain why this might be occurring at all?

thanks in advance.

To change countries, you need a zero account balance and you need to cancel all your subscriptions. If you have cancelled all subscriptions, but some haven’t expired, contact iTunes Support. You need a credit card issued by a bank in the country the store is in, and you need a billing address in that country. If you have an account balance, either buy something more expensive and pay the balance with a credit card or contact iTunes Support and ask them to zero balance your account.

Purchases - View, change, or cancel your subscriptions

Purchases - Subscriptions not billed through Apple

Region - Change your iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store country or region

If necessary, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
