How do I get Apple Music on desktop rather than the old itunes? I have a subscription to apple music.

I have Apple Music now after having itunes for years. I have not been able to change my computer (PC) desktop icon from itunes to apple music.

Can't open iTunes Library.itl in Music on new Mac. New Mac running Monterey. Old Mac running High Sierra. I've copied the full library from the old Mac to an external disc and I'm trying to point the new Mac towards the iTunes Library.itl file to import the library. All that happens however is a spinning circle and "Loading", going nowhere. I've looked at the structure of the folder and it seems normal - I've never had it split between locations. (I've also tried deleting the existing Music folder and replacing it with the old one - Music opens up and asks me to choose a library, but this doesn't even result in the loading circle, it just doesn't work at all.) Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks

Moving iTunes library to external drive I began to move my library to an external drive. I believe I copied over all the files but the library that opens is the library from 2015. The music folder is very messy with individual music files among a iTunes and iTunes1 folder. I used the itl file from that one but it seems to be from an earlier file. Do I need to take the unit into an Apple store for in person help?

Windows currently uses the iTune application for playing Apple Music.

There is no separate Music app. That is only on iOS devices and macOS Catalina.

Did you enable Apple Music and sign in under preferences?

When I log into my iTunes, it doesn't pull the music I downloaded on my Apple Music app on my phone.
