My media keys don't work with iTunes?

As the original statement says, my media keys (f7, f8, and f9) don't work when iTunes is not minimized.

If I have another screen open above iTunes, they don't work, but if I bring the iTunes screen forward, they work. I've looked up different solutions, tried them, and none of them have worked. I will take any and all suggestions at this point.

Windows, Windows 10

Perhaps you could help other people by telling us what you did to resolve the issue.

I recall reading your post at the time you posted it, but since the F keys are not a feature I've ever used and they didn't work on my Window 7 machine when I did try them, I decided not to reply as I had nothing to offer. Perhaps everyone else felt the same way, particularly as it would appear to be a Windows function, not an iTunes one. We are, after all, users just like you, not Apple employees.

I realise though, that the F keys do work on my Windows 10 laptop, but I still haven't found the Windows control for the feature .

By the way, I do not feel like a bot, so I'm confident therefore, that I'm not.
