Anytime I turn on the iMessage or FaceTime, the only thing I see is “ waiting for activation”

I’ve been trying to access iMessage and FaceTime using my phone number but anytime I turn on the iMessage or FaceTime, the only thing I see is “ waiting for activation”. It’s been like that for a day now. I want to know how I can use resolve this problem. I don’t want to use my Apple ID at the moment.

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If the above does not help and you do not want to use Apple ID just change your Apple ID password this resets your phone number, it usually works.
