My wallet was stolen. I have received all my new cards. I went to put them in Wallet and the last 4 numbers showing are the new cards numbers. Does wallet update a replacement card automatically?

All my credit cards were stolen. The new cards seem to already be on wallet since the last 4 numbers showing are the same and that’s what changes when they replace cards. Does wallet automatically update?

Yes. See the following from Manage the cards that you use with Apple Pay - Apple Support

While you can't change your card number or expiration date, it should update automatically when you get a new card. If your issuer doesn't support updates, you might need to remove the card, then add it again.
