water damage to part of keyboard

I spilled a small amount of water on the right hand side of my keyboard and now the right hand return and shift key won't work.

The keyboard is typically the first causality in water damage.— I suspect it will get worse.

You can connect an external keyboard as a work around, while you still have functionality (wireless keyboard needs registering.)

Otherwise take it in for repair:

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.
